Then we had drinks at a club [?] [?] [?}- he was
giving it to an old lady a friend of [?] [?] in Washington.
And the [?] was there. Also another Japanese couple.
The old ladie monopolized all the conversation and had nothing
to say. And Pete [?] [?] it was not an obligation that
[?] [?] had to get off. He was [?] it would take too
[?] to describe [?]. That which is the kind who is an awful
nuisance. the man on my right was an Oxford graduate
and had a strong english accent, Could harly understand me. [?]
