Its so far ahead of the West Indies
that I saw, "it isn't even funny" -
Of course Jamaica was lovely but
hotter and you had to sleep after
lunch, but here you can keep
going all day. Its like lovely
June weather with a nice breeze.
They haven't had any rain
for a month, most unusual,
so things are pretty dry. Pete says
we are due for a three day rain
and he promises to illustrate
my letter to you, so I'll write
a real letter soon.

By the way I got all the extra
books in my suitcase so you
see they were no trouble at all.
I do wish you could come and
see it here. You would love it
and the flowers are so lovely
mostly as flowering shrubs and
everyone is so happy and friendly.
