Moana Hotel. The Moana is a very
old fashioned high building with two
newer wings, then there's the Royal
Hawaiian Hotel which is much
larger, very modern beautiful and
more expensive, but the Moana has
more of the atmosphere ans is
simple and awfully nice. Its the
kind of place where you might
see a row of rocking chairs. In the
rear there is the largest Banyan
tree, the kind that has rots
which fall down from the branches
and take root to form a larger trunk.
It makes a perfect shade tree nd
completely covers or fills the court
yard in the back of the hotel. The
branches reaching out to touch the
walls on the three sides. the fourth
side is open and is the sea. The
