Dearest Mother,
As you see we have gotten
this far successfuly and are having
a fine trip. After writing you ["Frid" struckout] Thursday
night at the Bauf Spring we went to
the movies with Frances and Murray [?]
and took the Jonses with us. He is the
manager of the Bauf there and this
last winter both of theur children died
and of course they are having a
tough time of it and would pick
a sad pathetic movie with a little
child dying and so we all left in the
middle of it and really it was a rather
