{Centre aligned, printed letter head} LAKE O'HARA CHALET-BUNGALOW CAMP
HECTOR, B. C.

supper was late as the boys had to cook in the
cabin, which is no larger than Aunt Julies dining
room. And with 30 or more people going in and
out & trying to dry off by the stove, it wasn't
very easy. Luckily it cleared off was a lovely
evening, and the soup was excellent.

The second day was said to be easy. Our
shortest day we were told and not much climbing.
It was lovely and clear and we all started off. lots
of pictures were taken on the first pass, where there
was a very extensive view. Mr Palinski (from
Chicago in the advertizing business) took several
of us on the sky line. So we may be advertizing
Spud Cigarettes yet. We had lunch on the
Boundary Line between Alberta & British
Columbia, and then Pete & Miss Booz & I went
a little different way than the rest and over a
ridge from which we could see Tunnel Mt & the
road to Calgary in Banff. We joined the rest
and went down towards Egypt Lake where that
and nights camp was to be. It was rather lovely
from this second pass, for the lakes looked
so turquoise in color as they say in the woods
