Dearest Mother I mailed an unfinished letter to you this morning as I wasn't sure when I would have a chance to finish it and now having come up to the hotel to get a check book at the bank at four o'clock we stayed to supper with Frances James and it is now nearly eight and I left there as I did want to write you some more before going out on the walking expedition tomorrow I got your letter and am so glad you are going to Rockport for at least

[?] quarters and want them for their hunting lodge in [?]. Isn't that pretty good [?] for a depression. They are to be finished by October.
Madame Pauet went to the Art exhibition with us and as Pete was taking to two of the artists who had painted some of the worst modern paintings she came in and never thinking who the two men were [?] [?] some of the awfuk things in the [?] room I [?] hard and just then the lights went out and we were left in total darkness. The MacDonagh [?] for tea and stayed until [?]. We went our to supper and then Barbara and her mother come over and then Dorothy White and her sister to see the house [?]. Then Francis Janies? and Murry called and it was after twelve again when we went to bed. Today we packed [?] all morning came up here at 4 and then after taking the [?] [?] to the house we were so excited we [?] of stayed on [?] wanted us to stay for supper so we did. {center top} 15. its nice and they have just come to sat we are going to the movies. Its really an awfully good way to live I ought to fgo have water the trees make mosquitoe nets. Need stocking get ready a bit for an easy start tomorrow but it doesn't seen to matter if we don't do it with until the movies it certainly makes one take things easily and after all worrying doesn't help.
We are going to stop at Castle [?] Saturday and I will try to write you from there.
