then when got over the ridge
we went down such a steep trail
nit it was almost harder than
going up hill. We rested frequently
as the boys packs were really too
heavy for such a trip. I didn't feel
as much sympathy for Vic as after
all he should have has a map

to go into Parch? Valley which is an

Then we will camp there a day of

arrive in the midst of the party
and they would all have given up
expecting us and then we would
come.
