boat silently slipping away
from the Pier. It was 10 at
night & the lights were lovely -
There were quite a few ships
in the harbor and they all
put spot lights on their colored
smokestacks and give no idea
how pretty the boats are now
lighted at night.

There must be 30 children
in all on this boat. mostly
Navy families going out.

I will mail this on the
boat to go back with it.
It seens funny to think Im
almost there. Maybe you
and Frances should pick
up and take a cruise. Its
lots of fun-
