its moist & humid all the time, so
far its been 70° or 72° in the early
morning & evening and 78° in the
middle of the day.

Honolulu is a lovely city and
has unusually fine buildings. Sort
of Spanish Architecture with Linais {sic}
(which are covered porches, peazzas {sic}
or verandahs) and lovely flowering
shrubs or vines. Then there are
beautiful parks as well, and every
thing seems very cool and clean.
The street cars are all open and
its like June and a city built
for June. Nassau seems so stupid
compared with this for it was dirty
and muggy and you felt everything
was rotting awayand the natives
were slaves and not happy. Here
