Wednesday - Nov 8, 1933.

Dear Mother, Your two letters written Friday & Saturday came yesterday and today. It was great to hear and I guess you know by now how much I love to get them? Quick if you first write the way you did to Banff. Or maybe thats too much for me to expect but anyway the mail is pretty regular and there are boats every few days even here. there

2. is a boat twice a week and a plane service too I believe to Hawaii so msybe the mail wont be quite as regular then. But if a letter does miss one boat it always catches another one soon. I think it would be grand to have the Wednesday and Saturday Transcript and the Sunday Herald and the Concord Journal sent here for 3 months. to us care of the Moana Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii. Did any Crag nd Canyons come to me from Cameron in Banff. He wrote that he had sent a package of them to me. It is the Banff local paper.

3. We are still having a wonderful time and have done some [shuteling?] yesterday spending the whole day on the other side of the Island on a lovely beach. We put our bathing suits on there and then Pete put his trousers on and I my green skirt. I even managed to take my bathing suit off under the skirt and sweat shirt without any one noticing.

Another thing I forgot to tell you about is the way thry serve you lunch in your car at lots of places, even in the city. you drive into a sort of park up place head on to the building and out comes a waitress and

4 takes your order. If it is meal meal she comes back with a long narrow board about a foot wide and long enough to reach across the front seat and it rests on the windows. and if it [?] a drink they clamp a little tray onto the door. Its a great idea and is very clean, quick and good foot and if you are in a bathing suit how simple

Dearest mother Honolulu is as lovely as ever. the weather perfect with maybe an occasional shower. The sunsets are the most beautiful I have ever seen and last nearly an hour as a rule.
