I don't know if I can possibly remember
the way in which the lady making tea
did everything. But each movement was
carefully made and had meaning, and
there wasn't an extra movement any
where. The priest entered bringing in a
sort of covered high bowl of water and
a sacred piece of bamboo like a napkin
ring on a shallow bowl. Then after
kneeling and placing them just so she
went out and brought in a little black
laquer pot of tea. a bamboo sterier?
which looks like a shaving brush.
The round ended wooden dipper and
curvious spoon like a narrow spoon
for lifting the tea. I'm not sure of the
