In afternoon we took the
horses to the alp lands
across the creek. I rode
Patches as [T...erville?]
didnt go. Climbed up
ridge to left + walked
along ridge + up to two
summits. Strongest
wind I ever felt. Saw
sheep + goats. Got down
out of wind by getting
little below ridge.
On return, we rode along
side of mountain in
loose fine shale + through
meadow of flowers, purple
fleabane (or are they [aster?]
+ arnicas. Charades
in evening. Saskatchewan
