Lake. Bear on trail
Those in front see him
Travel fast with lots
of canters. Camp on
flat near {above the line: 'Medicine'} Lake, getting
in at 2:15. Try to
fish but lake is too
shallow near shore.
Quite tired. Horseshoe
quoits on camp
ground. After supper
seven of us + Jim go to
fish in Jacques Lake
Riding Patches.
Caroline camped there
before + thought it would
take about a half hour.
Instead it took 1 1/2 hrs.
Passed 4 lakes
