Ellen is riding Blue Robin. Ride down to Pipestone + lunch at camp at meadows 9 miles from Louise where Mr. Drake who starts hunting tomorrow with Jim will camp first night. Much riding of horses at lunch. Leave everything but duffle there + go on to Louise. Come in right at stations wait for pack train + there trot + canter

to Chateau. Bigger + uglier since the fire. Baths. All have double rooms to self, first floor [dash] lake front. mine no. 145. Pictures came + are good. Jim + Max here in evening. also meet Mr. Drake + son + Mr. Hall who weighs 225 (poor Greenwood) There is too much snow to climb Victoria but Rudolph will take Ellen + Marg up Aberdeen tomorrow

I decided not to go as I was tired + not too well. Fri 28. Ellen + Marg climb Aberdeen. Several of us ride to Saddleback climb Fairview down Sheol Valley to Paradise to Giant Steps where we met the climbers with horses + then home. Florence went to Banff + got beautiful mocassins + other things Indian. Caroline is going hunting
