Lunch on train with Mrs [Hesty]
(a Pittsburgh woman, married
to Swiss + living in Basle)
Arrived Paris at 2:46 pm.
Met by Mr. Armfield of Bartlett
+ put in taxi for Hotel Chathaeu
Dinner at Chathaeu, not too good
on Rue S[cribe] block from Place
de l'opera. Taxi out to [Bors]
[?] home in evening
Saturday July 5 - In Paris - headache
+ sick. stayed in bed till dinner
at Cafe de la Paix. Leave on
10pm train to Geneva - upper
berth in compartment with [Arte]
