3rd Met [Jim?] + drove in car to outfit on Banff Louise Rd + trail up Baker Creek. Rode few miles up Creek Camped on bluff above Creek looking towards Mts. Ride was thru {above the line: 'small'} pine trees along dusty trail on side of bluff

overlooking creek Outfile are Jim [Boyce?] Bert [M?]ickel cook Johnny [M?]uska Charlie Hunter Frank Bennet Bouar Ward 4th Start 10 oclock. Rode up Baker Creek til 12 when we lunched near little stream. Rode over pass + camped beyond on side of hill. Tent above cook tent below. with Tommy. C.H., M.S., C.A. M.S; H.R. Stayed up [from ..ay?] Pack train arrived 6 pm after several horses bucking off their packs. Tea + fire then supper + camp fire up near tents. C.H. went off [...es?] on trip; not hurt but stunned; Rubbed her with Sloan's. Stayed up till after 11 by fire with C.H + M.S. {above the line: 'Sun.'} July 5 Layover at Baker Pass. mt. from Pass with Caroline, Caty, + Charlie. Fish at Lake trying new rod which I got at Montreal. Goat was on mountain above us. We rolled lot of rocks off. Some went Swimming in lake [dash?] shallow + not so cold. Home late for supper. {above line: 'Mon.'} July 6. Rain most of morning clearing in aft. Took [.....?] then climbed to Madelaine Rock on mt west of camp with Caroline, Madelaine Marguerite + Jim. Sheep above us moving on

ahead of us. [Po?sty] started on trip but went back. Getting lots of flowers + listing them in book. Got home just before rain. Sat in tepee {above line: 'Tues'} 7th Woke up with snow Sat before fire all morning waiting for sun to come out.
