Went swimming but I
didnt go in. Went to
see the Indians who are
camped across a meadow
after supper. Met [Gussie?]
Beaver + Silas [Abraham?]
Peter Beaver + squaw
with two little boys Jimmy
+ Johnny who are friendly
+ bashful respectively
Also met Susie [Horse?]
who was educated at a
mission school + talked
quite good English
Caroline buys moccassins
very prettily beaded but
they had been worn
