He might have gone with Frank + Shorty or even with Mary + Busty to the Tonquin Valley. Charlie is leaving tomorrow to ride back to Jasper. He will look for him + go to Maligne Canyon Camp if he isnt in Jasper. Cocoa with marsh{hypenated word: 'marshmallows'} mallows which is

most delicious. Marge + [Ellaine?] got them in Jasper + Jim packed them out. Mon 3. Most of us want to climb in the afternoon so an all day trip is taboo. Pancakes for breakfast + I ate four. In afternoon we took the horses to the alp lands across the creek. I rode Patches as [T...erville?] didnt go. Climbed up ridge to left + walked along ridge + up to two summits.
