Meet Bert Wilkins, Dick Dickerson, cook + very dressy, + Rufus Neigh [hyphen] bor. near station. Leave horses in their corral. Neighbor has little boy of six who rides with chaps. Cutest thing you ever saw. Went to Bert's house + met Mrs. Wilkins, also Rick. Go to Chinks for lunch.

sit in little stalls like Flag shop at college. Afterwards we shopped camera films etc. Tie {above the line: "Mackinaw $7.50} + rubber bag. Ate ice cream + sundaes. Meet at Bert's house [dash] then go saddle horses + ride back, the 3 men + little boy coming back with us for dinner [dash] [Curse?] Tues 28 Up early + go to Jasper in truck. sitting on back with Marg + Busty. Meet [illegible] + niese Ellen on streets. of Jasper. Train is two hours late. Wait around station bolstered up with ice cream cones.

Leave 11:20. Jasper runs on Pacific time but we keep our own Mt. time. Arrive about two at Robson plat[hyphen] form + lunch at cabin down the hill belonging to Hargraves. My new horse is called Baby Beauty + used to be a race horse but is old ride of 18 miles so they say to Mt Robson but it doesnt seem so. Stop at 8 miles at cabin at [Kinney?] Lake. Trail
