So thirsty I fell onto some snow for a drink + soon after Jim found a dirty water hole + that took us to a stream of melted snow where we lunched. After lunch the climb took us over snow + then up over snow + then up a chimney where we dangled on a rope + had lots of fun. Spent some time on top. Then started down. Caty slid on some

snow + landed on top of Caroline. Got home at 7 pm "their time". After dinner tepee was so smoky we sat on flat in front of cabins + played handkerchief game. others had gone on glacier with Dick Hargrave + [Mr. T.?] in afternoon went out in boat on Berg Lake + wat{hyphen} {hyphenated word from previous line: 'watched'} the avalanches fall from Tumbling Glacier into the Lake. Several ice berge are always floating there. The view from Mumm would have been more

Got off + walked to Emperor Falls on way. Busty felt unwell with climb + heat. I took several pictures having to jump off my horse when it is going as it wont stand + [tries?] to [buck?] to get on. Robson Station Camp where we wash up [dash] Arrive in Jasper + go in Buick to camp [dash] Cocoa + Bed. Sat Aug 1. Busty + Mary leave at 9 am in tears. Pack them + duffle into Ford roadster + a sad face. well [or 'we'll'?] [wishes?]. We leave soon riding past the Lodge where we got lemons + sugar for lemonade for lunch + turn off to left, that side of town. Lunch down steep embankment. Rode afterwards on
