thin that every bone shows + passes go pretty bad with him. Horses are missing again but come in shortly. Ride along trail for little while + then go up Jonas shoulder. High alp lands for some distance Take several pictures Stop at highest point + climb to top of shoulder. Then down to water + lunch. Big Colt misbehaves + everybody go secretly{in parentheses: '(?)'} into hysterics. Ride down to timberline +

camp on Ewe Creek. Florence + I read in early evening, then Caroline + I climb shoulder behind camp It is lovely there in the twilight. Fine view of Cataract Pass + Corral is seen further down. Also Nigel Pass. Sat 8. Lay{hyphen}over at Ewe Camp. Caroline, Marg Ellen, Mr T + I climb peak opposite camp. Go up five {bolded word: 'peeks'} but highest one is still beyond Climb first to alp

[land?] shoulder. Then up loose stones to pretty solid rocks + then climb. Roped twice in places not difficult but a big drop if one should fall. No water on climb + we get pretty thirsty. Come down pretty steep slope to Brazeau. Two moose are grazing below us a lot of the time. Fine view of Nigel + Sask. gl. region also Cataract Pass + mt we climbed there last year. Lemonade
